Zenai Jewelry Co., a brand inspired by love, legacy, and the enduring strength of family. Founded by Martha Hernandez, Zenai Jewelry Co. is a tribute to the powerful bond between generations and the elegance that transcends time.
Zenaida's Story
Zenaida’s journey began in Cuba, where she was born and raised. In 1962, seeking freedom and a better life, Zenaida courageously escaped Castro’s regime, arriving in the United States with her husband and two young daughters, Martha and Irma. Life in a new country wasn’t easy, but Zenaida’s strength and determination shone through. She took on a job at the Tootsie Roll factory, working tirelessly to support her family. Despite the challenges, Zenaida never let her circumstances define her.
"My mother always took pride in her appearance," Martha shares. "Every Sunday, she would wash her hair and carefully set it in rollers. She had a deep love for perfumes, building an impressive collection over the years. Jewelry was her passion—she had pieces for every occasion, always adding a touch of elegance to her daily life, no matter where she was going."
The Birth of Zenai Jewelry Co.
After welcoming three grandsons, Martha was blessed with her first granddaughter, Eliana Zenai. Eliana’s middle name was chosen as a tribute to Zenaida, the great-grandmother she would never meet but whose influence and love continue to shape the lives of Martha’s daughters.​
